Do You Hold Youth Events on Holidays?

When scheduling events and youth meeting nights, it becomes a little sticky around holidays and days when school is off. Some youth groups view holiday weekends as just another weekend and free game to youth events. Others view holiday weekends as family time; no services or events are ever scheduled on these weekends.

No matter which you choose, make sure you are consistent with how you handle those “off” days. Also, make sure you communicate it to the parents; families like to plan vacations far in advance.
