Crazy Love by Francis Chan is one of those books where you cannot fully grasp all that is said upon first read. There is simply too much there. This is very surprising, considering the book is a small paperback consisting of 175 pages. Yet in these 10 chapters, Francis Chan deeply challenges the read to stop, think, and praise God for the amazing opportunity we have as Christians to accept and reciprocate His love.
Even though the book is slender, constant reflection and thought on the material makes for a longer and more impactful experience. Simple yet challenging writing allows this book to be grasped by all types of Christian. It is especially beneficial for stagnant believers who want to get back to the basics of their faith: the crazy love between them and the Father.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. In the future, I plan to incorporate chapters of the book into my daily devotions, allowing for deeper reflection and evaluation of this crazy love. This is a great book that you will want to read and immediately get into the hands of your friends. Rating: 4.5 / 5
